We at Nunyara Care Plus are working to make our site, Nunyara Care Plus (www.ncplus.com.au), accessible to people with disabilities.
What web accessibility is
An accessible site allows visitors with disabilities to browse the site with the same or a similar level of ease and enjoyment as other visitors. This can be achieved with the capabilities of the system on which the site is operating, and through assistive technologies.
Nunyara Care Plus is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people of all abilities. We aim to provide a website that is inclusive, easy to navigate, and accessible to everyone — including those using assistive technologies
Accessibility adjustments on this site
We strive to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA, as endorsed by the Australian Government and the Digital Service Standard.
- Used the Accessibility Wizard to find and fix potential accessibility issues
- Set the language of the site
- Set the content order of the site’s pages
- Defined clear heading structures on all of the site’s pages
- Added alternative text to images
- Implemented color combinations that meet the required color contrast
- Reduced the use of motion on the site
- Ensured all videos, audio, and files on the site are accessible
⚠️ Declaration of Partial Compliance
Nunyara Care Plus is committed to creating an inclusive, accessible experience for all users of our website:
www.nsplus.com.au
We aim to comply with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA, however, we acknowledge there are areas of our website that may not yet fully meet these standards. These include:
🔧 Known Limitations
PDFs and downloadable resources: Some PDF documents or forms may not be fully tagged for screen reader accessibility. We are working to convert these into accessible formats.
Third-party content: Some embedded tools (such as maps, booking forms, or videos hosted on external platforms) may not meet accessibility standards beyond our control.
Language support: While we aim to provide multilingual and Easy English resources, not all content is currently available in alternate languages or formats.
Keyboard navigation testing: We are in the process of completing full audits for keyboard-only access and screen reader functionality across all devices.
🛠 Ongoing Improvements
We are actively working to:
Convert static files (e.g., brochures, intake forms) into WCAG-compliant formats
Ensure all new content meets accessibility guidelines from the outset
Offer alternative formats upon request, including Easy Read, large print, and translated versions
Partner with accessibility consultants to identify and correct remaining barriers
Requests, issues, and suggestions
